Returning your rental vehicle to Europcar
Within Returns Location Opening Hours:
Please allow plenty of time for your vehicle to be checked over and for you to receive your Statement of Returns to ensure you have full peace of mind before proceeding with your onward journey.

Refuelling the vehicle on return to a Europcar location
If you didn't select our Full Tank Option at the start of your rental then the cheapest option is to return the vehicle full of fuel*.
Alternatively, we can refuel the vehicle for you, for which you will be charged at our standard refuelling rate per litre along with a fixed surcharge. Please see the our Tariff Guide for more details.
*Excludes 100% Electric Vehicles
Running late
Your rental period is calculated in 24 hour periods, starting from the date and time stated against the Check Out Station on your Rental Agreement. We do allow a 29 minute grace period at the end of the rental period before the start of a new 24 hour period. If you go over the 29 minute grace period you will incur additional charges.
If you wish to extend your rental from the date and time shown on your rental agreement please give us at least two working hours notice beforehand to arrange this:

- If you did not book directly with Europcar, please contact the company or person who made your reservation.
Returning your vehicle
If returning to one of our airport stations:
- 1. To find your designated drop off location please follow the GPS coordinates as listed here
- 2. Follow the relevant Car Park, Car Rental or Europcar directional signage when entering the airport.
If returning to one of our airport stations:
- 1. The location of and directions to each of our nationwide locations are listed here
- 2. There are links to take you straight via google / apple maps, from your current location, or by using the Eircode or GPS coordinates provided to ensure you reach your designated drop off location as smoothly and easily as possible.
If you have arranged for your vehicle to be collected at the end of your rental period then please be aware that it will be collected within eight working hours from the specific date and time we have been notified to collect the vehicle on. This may not be the date and time shown on your Rental Agreement.
Please ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe and accessible place at the agreed collection address that will allow us up to eight working hours from the collection off hire date and time to collect it without imposing any parking fines, towing, clamping or compound charges. If you do not do so then you will be charged for any costs we incur as a result within the eight hour working period from the collection off hire date and time.
In the event that we are unable to collect the vehicle within eight working hours of it being off-hired for collection, the rental location responsible will contact you to advise and to make alternative arrangements.
