There are eleven toll roads in the Republic of Ireland, ten of which have regular barrier toll plazas, where it is the responsibility of the driver to pay the appropriate motorway toll.

Barrier Free : Cost will be added to rental

The M50 motorway around Dublin uses a barrier free tolling system, between junctions 6 and 7.

To ensure you have a smooth driving experience Europcar has partnered with eFlow, Ireland’s motorway network toll operator, to enable our customers to drive freely on the M50 without the need to pay online for each toll crossing.

The cost per toll plus admin fee will automatically be added to your booking and charged as part of your Rental Agreement. In certain circumstances, the charge may not be available at the time of your return, and your card may be charged for the cost at a later point.

Further information regarding toll rates and payment methods will be given on collection of your vehicle. All other toll charges are the responsibility of the renter and must be paid as you enter or exit the toll plaza.
